Duckworth and Primary Opponent Debate on WTTW
Today congressional candidate Tammy Duckworth debated her primary opponent on WTTW’s ChicagoTonight.
The candidates discussed the economy, the rising cost of gas, the Keystone XL pipeline, and religious freedom.
Duckworth highlighted her experience in getting things done at the state and federal level to create jobs in a tough economy. “Anytime candidates are given a forum to discuss ideas and talk directly to voters is a good thing,” said Duckworth.
The candidates are scheduled to debate again on Saturday, March 10 in Villa Park. There have already been more than a dozen joint appearances throughout the district.
