National Committee to Preserve Social Security & Medicare (NCPSSM) Endorses Duckworth

The National Committee to Preserve Social Security & Medicare (NCPSSM) has endorsed Tammy Duckworth for the 8th Congressional District of Illinois.

In a letter to Duckworth announcing the organization’s endorsement, NCPSSM President Max Richtman wrote, “Our nation needs your leadership, vision and determination to fight for working families and older Americans. You earned the endorsement of the National Committee because you understand and support the critical roles that Social Security and Medicare play in the retirement and health security of our nation’s older citizens and their families. You are well prepared to serve the needs of seniors and make the preservation of Social Security and Medicare a priority in office.”

“I’m proud to receive the endorsement of the National Committee to Preserve Social Security & Medicare,” said Duckworth. “Social Security and Medicare are vital to the well-being of our nation’s seniors and I look forward to working with NCPSSM to keep these programs strong for future generations.”

The NCPSSM is the nation’s foremost advocacy organization fighting to protect Social Security and Medicare and has more than 100,000 members in Illinois.
