Labor Organizations Representing Thousands of Local Workers Endorse Tammy Duckworth for Congress
The Duckworth for Congress campaign announced nearly a dozen key labor endorsements today. The endorsements reflect the support at the local, regional and national levels for Tammy Duckworth’s run in Illinois’ 8th Congressional District and her commitment to fight for workers’ rights and strengthen the economy. The following labor organizations announced their endorsement for Duckworth:

In response to the endorsements Duckworth said, “I am honored by this support. The issues important to the labor community are the same for residents throughout the 8th District – the economy, creating jobs, and ensuring a better future for our children.”
The organizations join those who have already endorsed Duckworth for the 8th Congressional District including: United Food and Commercial Workers International and Locals 881 and 1546, EMILY’s List, VoteVets, Asian American Action Fund, and Senator Dick Durbin.
